WHAT’S TEAM FRIDAY UP TO?

Tucked away in Satwa’s nondescript Al Ghazal Mall is a haven for geeks, nerds and fans of the fantasy genre – The Geeky Lizard. How I stumbled across this quaint little store is a story for the next issue, but let me tell you this: Star Wars miniatures, Avengers memorabilia, stacks of Dungeons and Dragons board games, boxes of Pokémon trading cards, and most importantly, a welcoming clientele of proud gamers encouraged me to get my geek on. This weekend I was at Dubai’s Fashion Forward. As well as attending the runway shows, I had the amazing experience of going behind the scenes at Michael Cinco’s show.
