Here are some of our favourite courses that are starting soon. They’re all free, and if you miss them, don’t panic, as they are often repeated. Where: Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, US (via edX) How long: Three hours per week; five weeks Why we like it: Anyone under 50 will likely have grown up with video games featuring heavily in their life, and the idea of seeing how Pong led to Space Invaders and then Pac-Man and beyond sounds like a blast. The course promises to look at the rise of virtual reality, too.
