Mini masterchefs can get stir­ring and whisk­ing at Ital­ian restau­rant Ricetta’s kids’ cook­ing classes run­ning to­mor­row, April 29 and May 6, 13 and 20. Chil­dren aged six to 12 can learn to whip up pizza, pasta and cup­cakes un­der head chef Alex Se­bas­tianutti and his team. From 11am to noon at Four Points by Sher­a­ton in Bur Dubai, Dh100. Lit­tle ones can learn lessons out­side of class­rooms at Chil­dren’s City’s En­vi­ron­men­tal Sus­tain­abil­ity Week events. There will be in­ter­ac­tive work­shops on so­lar en­ergy, or­ganic plant­ing and plas­tics, while shows like Let’s Save the Planet will ed­u­cate and en­ter­tain, run­ning un­til to­mor­row. Real Pi­lates JLT has started a 10-week ju­nior Pi­lates course for kids aged seven-11. In­struc­tor Mal­icah Eis­sah has de­vised a pro­gramme that’s easy on young mus­cles and joints, yet fo­cuses on im­prov­ing pos­ture and build­ing core strength, sta­bil­ity and co­or­di­na­tion through ba­sic ex­er­cises.
