STARGAZING

Your stars for the week ahead.

-

ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 18

You can’t plan for the unexpected. However, with the ideas planet Mercury ending its retrograde cycle on Wednesday, and positioned in Aries, you can be sure there’ll be surprises. While some may be disruptive, most will be a continuation of recent events which, by and large, have forced you to review existing arrangements and rethink your priorities, in the here and now, and for the future.

TAURUS APRIL 19 – MAY 19

Although the New Moon took place last Wednesday, because it was actually in Taurus, you’re undoubtedly still mulling over the sudden developments it ushered in and unexpected ideas and offers it triggered. If others are urging you to make decisions, tell them they’ll just have to wait. Not only are many changes still unfolding, you need time to weigh up your options.

GEMINI MAY 20 – JUNE 20

The past weeks, since your ruler Mercury went retrograde on April 9, have been as unsettling as they’ve been informative. However, judging by the swift pace, you’ve had little opportunity to reflect on those insights and won’t until Wednesday, when it resumes forward motion. Take it slowly. It may not be until well into May that you recognise what, and who, is of greatest significance.

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

Life would be easier if changes you’ve discussed at length could be turned into plans, and those plans into action. Yet judging by the powerful planetary activity that reaches back to early April and extends until mid-May, the circumstances you’re dealing with are as unsettled as they are promising. If you must make arrangements, ensure they’re flexible but, ideally, keep things loose.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21

Being cornered into making decisions when short of facts or when unclear about priorities is annoying. Yet you’ve had to do exactly that. Bizarrely, the fact Mercury ends its retrograde cycle on Wednesday will prove helpful, mostly because the resulting revelations and sudden changes give you time to conduct a review. Still, with so much in transition, ensure even simple decisions are flexible.

VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21

Usually, when your ruler Mercury is retrograde, as it’s been since April 9, dilemmas are strictly personal. But because this cycle, which ends on Wednesday, accents those closest, from family and friends to colleagues, most responsibilities have been theirs to deal with. Which leaves you time to rethink and remedy increasingly unworkable arrangements. The sooner you tackle these, the better.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 22

Leaving others to wrestle with tricky dilemmas and misunderstandings on their own seems uncaring but, actually, it’s wise. They’re well informed about the situations and individuals in question. Besides, you’ll want to turn your attention to practical or financial matters which, within a week or so, will need your attention. Do a little research now and you’ll be ready to deal with them.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

Ordinarily, you’d find a tactful way to deal with potentially emotional or unsettling joint issues, and without others noticing. Since the Scorpio Full Moon, on May 10, brings these to a head, you’re better off taking it slowly and, even more, considering whether certain worrying changes are actually in your best interests. The more questions you ask now, the wiser your decisions will be.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

Unlikely as it seems from your current vantage point, by mid-May you’ll be in the midst of lifechanging developments. Some have been in the air for ages, others will appear suddenly but they’ll all merge into something wonderful. Resist the temptation to agree to what are, in truth, merely acceptable ideas or offers. You deserve better, and it’s coming your way very soon.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18

Living with others’ chaos is challenging enough, but achieving a balance between avoiding disasters while cornering the individuals in question into taking responsibility for their errors has been nearly impossible. Yet within days their decisions, often shaped by your guidance, will come together. That sorted, move on, and decisively, to far more rewarding interests of your own.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 17

You’ve been reviewing various passions, plans and projects, some because it’s time to move on but others because you’re feeling restless. You’ve learnt several long-standing dreams are actually no longer of interest. That, in turn, has freed you to consider potentially life-changing and probably unexpected ideas, offers or, possibly, sudden encounters. Embrace them. You’ll never look back.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Since April 10, when Mercury went retrograde, you’ve dealt with confusion in a range of situations and have managed to keep others from making decisions they’d regret. While Mercury resumes forward motion on Wednesday, the chaos will take weeks to die down and, bizarrely, will prove amazingly informative. Deal with the issues facing you, but slowly, once, and in depth.
