While you trawl the mall for sum­mer deals the kids can keep busy with the free ac­tiv­i­ties at BurJu­man. Un­til Au­gust 12, the mall will have a sand pit for kids to play in, in­door rock climb­ing for them to ex­pel all that ex­cess en­ergy, arts and crafts ac­tiv­i­ties and bub­ble blasts ev­ery 20 min­utes, daily from 4-10pm.

It’s not too late to sign up for sum­mer camps yet – the Colors Dubai Sum­mer Camp 2017 is con­duct­ing ac­tiv­i­ties for kids aged three to nine years at lo­ca­tions across Dubai in­clude the Dubai Ladies Club and BurJu­man. The camp in­cludes work­shops on dance, art, aer­o­bics, bak­ing and swim­ming su­per­vised by KHDA-ap­proved teach­ers. From Sun­days to Thurs­days; 9.30am-2pm, un­til Au­gust 24. There’s plenty of bear hugs for lit­tle ones to­day at Or­ange Wheels (above). The chil­dren’s en­ter­tain­ment cen­tre at Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi, has tied up with Build A Bear, the stuffed an­i­mal work­shop, to host a Teddy Bear Pic­nic Day. A life-size Build A Bear mas­cot will pick up and drop off kids from Or­ange Wheels to the Build A Bear store where they can make their own soft toy from scratch, fol­lowed by an hour’s play­time at Or­ange Wheels.
