SHOW UP AT SHARJAH

Instead of quietening down for the summer, Sharjah is picking up steam with exciting activities for kids and families.

The Night at the Museum movie franchise taught us that fossils can be a whole lot of fun; now the Sharjah Museums Department is taking a leaf out of that book and adding amusement to history with their Happy Holiday Summer Camps. The camp will include workshops, games, arts and crafts and other activities (above) that educate kids about Sharjah’s culture and history and also sees them visit historic sites.

Sharjah City Centre is going for gold with a virtual reality game called Gold Vault that lets winners take home gold and instant prizes. The mall’s virtual gold-hunt game requires participants to wear virtual reality glasses (below) and enter a vault where they have to collect money bags and find the vault’s key.
