Amazing Dubai – a new musical that’s opening at the Madinat Theatre in September. The open-call auditions are being held today at Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, from 10am-2pm and are open all. Written and directed by Sanjeev Dixit, rehearsals for the play will kick off mid-August. Call 052 837 0405.

If you think you’re still a little green behind the years to pursue your stage dreams profession­ally give the Summer Acting Programme for Adults at Ductac a go. The course runs from July 24-August 4 and covers improvisat­ion, voice and movement, Shakespear­e for beginners, character developmen­t, scene study and presentati­on style.
