STICKY SESAME CHICKEN WINGS
Prep time 1 hour 15 mins Cooking time Serves 4-6 INGREDIENTS 6 green shallots, finely sliced on the diagonal 4 cloves garlic, crushed 80ml soy sauce 80ml apple juice 1 tbsp finely grated ginger 2 tbsp brown sugar 2kg chicken wings 35g sesame seeds, toasted METHOD Steamed rice and salad leaves, to serve Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line two baking trays with parchment paper. Combine green onions, garlic, soy sauce, apple juice, ginger and sugar in a large bowl, stir to combine. Add chicken wings and toss to ensure it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Transfer the wings to the baking trays. Bake the wings for 40-45 mins or until cooked through and golden brown. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds. over Serve with steamed rice and salad leaves.
