Prep time 1 hour 15 mins Cook­ing time Serves 4-6 IN­GRE­DI­ENTS 6 green shal­lots, finely sliced on the di­ag­o­nal 4 cloves gar­lic, crushed 80ml soy sauce 80ml ap­ple juice 1 tbsp finely grated ginger 2 tbsp brown sugar 2kg chicken wings 35g sesame seeds, toasted METHOD Steamed rice and salad leaves, to serve Pre­heat the oven to 180°C. Line two bak­ing trays with parch­ment pa­per. Com­bine green onions, gar­lic, soy sauce, ap­ple juice, ginger and sugar in a large bowl, stir to com­bine. Add chicken wings and toss to en­sure it is well coated. Cover and re­frig­er­ate for at least one hour. Trans­fer the wings to the bak­ing trays. Bake the wings for 40-45 mins or un­til cooked through and golden brown. Trans­fer to a serv­ing dish and sprin­kle toasted sesame seeds. over Serve with steamed rice and salad leaves.
