STARGAZING

-

Your stars for the week ahead.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 19

Planning ahead isn’t just a virtue, it means you know what’s coming. However, between powerful planetary changes in your sign and the Capricorn New Moon, on the 16th, introducing yet more changes but, along with them, a timely fresh perspective, these are by no means the only options you’ll have. In fact, what seemed unwelcome, if not unwise, only recently could soon become your preference.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 17

As much as you, and everybody else, loves the thought of a dazzling idea or offer that comes from out of the blue, actually dealing with one or, possibly, several is another matter. But judging by the current planetary setup, that’s exactly what you’re facing. Explore each one, including those you regard as unappealing, if not unsuitable. What you learn could change those views, and overnight.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Generally you’re easygoing about who’s in charge. Yet not only does it seem certain individuals have taken over plans you consider to be entirely personal, their thinking is worryingly different from yours. Still, in this case you’re better off avoiding battles and, instead, discussing your concerns. At least, this will be informative. Also, their perspective on these tricky situations could be clearer than yours.

ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 19

Few planetary alliances are more powerful than the current link between your ruler Mars and the fortunate Jupiter. Bizarrely, however, you won’t always recognise the potential of events, partly because they’ll involve others or, possibly, be in their hands. Knowing that, explore absolutely every idea or offer, including those that are unappealing. What excites you least, at the moment, anyway, could turn out best in the long run.

TAURUS APRIL 20 – MAY 20

The rare link up between your ruler Venus, the Sun and Pluto, the planet of both transformation and power struggles, suggests you’ll be confused about the value of certain offers, and could even misunderstand the intention behind thrilling developments. Bizarrely, what’s best could be least expected if not seriously puzzling. Knowing that, you’ll adopt the inquisitive attitude that’s the ideal approach for a week of this nature.

GEMINI MAY 21 – JUNE 20

In early November your ruler Mercury moved to accent close alliances, personal and professional, and since then you’ve both discussed ideas and, occasionally, disagreed with others. In some cases, you made plans, some of which lasted. However, with Mercury moving into practical Capricorn and meeting stern Saturn there on the 13th, all those ideas will be taken further, if not turned into lasting arrangements..

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

Now that you’ve had a few days to reflect on both the issues that arose and the resulting exchange of ideas triggered by last week’s Cancer Full Moon, you’ve realised how important it was these matters be discussed. However, with the situations in question continuing to evolve until the end of the month, even seemingly simple plans should be regarded as tentative, if not an experiment.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 22

When a Leo commits to a plan or, in fact, to one particular individual, that’s that. From your perspective, changes aren’t just unlikely, they’d be a compromise. However, with both your ruler the Sun and Venus meeting the always truthful Pluto this week, events or even what you learn could mean rethinking seemingly fixed arrangements. If so, don’t battle destiny. What’s next will be better.

VIRGO AUGUST 23 – SEPTEMBER 22

During the final months of 2017 and now, in early 2018, you’ve both wanted to and, on occasion, had to review elements of your way of living or working you’ve long regarded as unchanging. While, in certain situations, the simple act of rethinking things was enough, in a few it’s become clear more far-reaching changes aren’t just wise, they’re essential. And soon. In fact, possibly this week.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 22

While you’ve no objection to changes, especially when things are work out jointly, you’re unhappy with the sudden and often dictatorial decisions being made. Abrupt unfair as these seem, they’re indicated by powerful aspects to Pluto, which is about transformation, especially in such circumstances. With your ruler Venus involved, ultimately, you could regard some of those changes as a relief.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

Last October, the fortunate Jupiter moved into Scorpio, kick-starting a cycle of growth and development more far reaching than you’d imagined possible. This week’s alliance between courageous Mars and Pluto takes things to the next stage. Extreme, if not unrealistic, as what’s happening seems, within a short while you’ll realise these were the breakthroughs you’d been seeking, but in an entirely unexpected form.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

Few things annoy you more than decisions being thrust on you or situations where you completely disagree with plans. Tempting as it is to rebel, either ask some serious questions or, perhaps, go with the flow. Give what’s been organised a try. It may be that you misunderstood or were basing your reaction on the past. Once you learn more, you’ll realise how timely those changes are.
