I HAVE A SENSITIVE STOMACH

-

Q

I am in my thirties and very concerned about my health. I avoid eating junk food as far as possible. However, since I was young, I’ve had a sensitive stomach, and fall sick often. What can I do to improve my stomach health?

A

Your gut is where your health story begins. It decides how happy you are, your sleep cycle, hormone production and what kind of foods you crave.

It appears you have an issue with your gut. Very often, we may think that the food we are eating is healthy and good for the body. However, on closer scrutiny, you might find that the food you’re consuming is not really the best for your system.

Your immunity is low, perhaps because you are eating foods that you think are healthy but are actually inflaming your gut. I would highly recommend that you do a two-week gut cleanse where you keep off all inflammatory foods such as xxx xxx and eat only veggies, sweet potato, white rice, nuts and avocados.

You could also add a green vegetable juice to your breakfast or dinner.

Importantly, and this is advice I offer all my clients, don’t forget to start your day with fat first.

Have a tablespoon of organic ghee, coconut oil or butter before you have anything else in the morning. This helps faster recovery of your gut lining. Please take 5g of L glutamine every day along with lemon juice at lunch. Studies have shown and confirmed that this amino acid is safe to consume and dramatically helps heal a sensitive gut.
