STARGAZING

If you’re facing confusion, it’s no surprise. With the communication planet Mercury retrograde, or in reverse movement in the heavens, life’s about unexpected events. While some may be a mere nuisance, others could call your attention to important changes

-

Your stars for the week ahead.

ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 19 TAURUS APRIL 20 – MAY 20

Watching plans you worked hard to create and arrangements you’re passionate about come undone is no fun. This may seem a crisis, at least at the time. But when thrilling, if unexpected events arise, they won’t just replace these, they’ll be far better. Soon your feelings of disappointment will be exchanged for excitement, if not optimism. Questioning what’s best? Explore everything. You’ll learn from it all.

GEMINI MAY 21 – JUNE 20

You’re already in the midst of a period of change and questioning. Consequently, the errors triggered by your ruler Mercury’s retrograde cycle will, first, highlight the nature of potential changes but, also, force you to get answers and define your options. While usually you’d sidestep this degree of investigation, you’ll soon be learning so much, and will be so fascinated, you won’t mind.

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

For ages there’s been talk of rethinking elements of your life, but things haven’t quite come together. Yet each experience has been instructive, which means when things begin moving suddenly this week, you’ll find you’re far more prepared to go futher than you’d imagined possible. Still, with the retrograde Mercury bringing confusion, regard whatever arrangements you make as tentative.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 22

Sometimes minor disagreements arise, are defined and discussed, and the issue is put to rest. At the moment, however, certain matters seem to spring up, again and again, if in slightly altered forms. That’s because there’s a core problem you’ve been ignoring, mostly because you were anxious about how others would react. Ask them. And be direct. You’ll soon discover it’s the best approach to take.

VIRGO AUGUST 23 – SEPTEMBER 22

Ordinarily, because of your quick mind and knack for finding solutions for even tricky situations, you cope well with the errors triggered when your ruler Mercury is retrograde However, because this particular cycle accents close alliances and others are less deft at dealing with problems, things could become even more complicated. The solution? Back off. These matters aren’t yours to deal with.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 22

One of your talents is giving those around you, close partners at work or at home, the impression they’re making decisions while, in fact, you’re pulling the strings. With both fiery Mars and your ruler Venus empowering those individuals, things are entirely up to them. This means there’ll be little discussion and, possibly, the outcome will be worrying. Still, leave them to it. You’ll soon learn why.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

While you’d have every right to be annoyed by both sudden changes in plan and the way certain once trustworthy people are now not so, it’s all about the ideas planet Mercury being retrograde. Exasperating as the resulting confusion is, the errors you discover, and remedy, before they become serious problems make up for these dramas. Besides, this is teaching you patience, a quality you could use more of.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

Over the past weeks and months, you’ve made arrangements and a few promises, all of which seemed uncomplicated at the time. But now things are coming undone. Tempting as it is to try to put it all back together, allow those arrangements that aren’t working to come to a natural conclusion. You’ve learnt from them and, better yet, they’re clearing the way for something new and far better.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 19

This is a perplexing period. Whatever you’ve done or decided, somebody or, possibly, an unexpected event has created a major obstacle. Ordinarily you’d revise your plan, then press on. Don’t. The Full Moon on March 31 will force everybody concerned to discuss their intentions openly. While, initially, this won’t be easy, the resulting exchange of ideas will prove amazingly rewarding.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 17

It’s an unruly week in an unsettled cycle. Still, when you look back, you’ll realise how far you’ve come, both in terms of dealing with changes and resolving issues. However, the encounter between gracious Venus and your ruler Uranus suggests it’s time for a break, partly to assess what you’ve accomplished but, even more, to take pleasure in spending time with those who matter most.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

As a Piscean, you pride yourself on being fair, even when you disapprove of what others are doing or dislike certain individuals. So when events force you to take a stand, if not reveal why certain problems have arisen, you feel guilty. There’s no need. On the contrary, your observations will help others clear up their own confusion, and contribute to making things better for everybody.
