Dubai gets another Aloft hotel

Dubai’s second Aloft Hotel – Aloft Me’aisam – opened in March hot on the heels of the Aloft Palm Jumeirah, which launched in January. The design-led brand’s second foray into Dubai’s glam hotel scene is located in Dubai Production City and is close to Dubai Sports City, giving these far-flung parts of the city a much-needed hotel.

It’s got 223 loft-inspired guestrooms, high ceilings, plush bed, a walk-in shower, amenities by Bliss Spa and a 49-inch LED TVs with Chromecast. Like the other Aloft hotels, rooms at Aloft Me’aisam too are equipped with SPG Keyless – a mobile check-in system where guests can use their mobile phones as room keys, and the Camp Aloft initiative that includes bed-ina-bag and special treats for kids.

The hotel will also be home to Aloft’s signature W XYZ Bar and Re:mixSM Lounge, which will extend into an outdoor space called the Backyard. Those living in the Me’aisam neighbourhood will be pleased to know that these spaces will be hosting Live at Aloft Hotels – a programming that show cases live acoustic performances by up-and-coming artists. The hotel also offers Re:fuel by AloftSM – a one-stop grab-n-go food and beverage area, and City Limits, an all-day cafe. Other amenities at the hotel include a fitness centre, an outdoor pool and a meeting space equipped.

Dubai has more Aloft hotels to look forward to this year – Alofts in Dubai South and City Centre Deira are in the pipeline.
