STARGAZING

Enthusiasm Fun Wittiness

- Shelley von Strunckel, one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday

Your stars for the week ahead.

GEMINI MAY 21 – JUNE 20

Most Geminis have a well-earned reputation for being easygoing about even disruptive changes. Yet certain rather tricky individuals and, equally, the changes you’re dealing with all demand you handle matters with a firm hand. This will be easier for everybody. First, many are unsure what’s best. But, even more, as you now recognise, you’re far better informed than most of those around you.

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

Although you’re entering an expansive cycle, for now, your time is best invested in dealing with certain as yet unsettled issues. Some are recent, others go back for ages, many seem minor. But left unresolved, each could distract you when you need to focus on the amazing events promised by the coming months’ powerful planetary activity. Regard dealing with these as an investment in your future.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 22

Obviously, you’re frustrated, both by the inattentiveness of those you rely on, and the slow progress in certain projects. But, bizarrely, these delays are in your best interests. While the facts won’t be clear until after mid-August’s Leo eclipsed New Moon, you already sense existing plans will need to be rethought. And that you’ll benefit. Knowing that, the current slow pace won’t bother you so much.

VIRGO AUGUST 23 – SEPTEMBER 22

After seemingly endless discussions and your explanations about the reasoning behind certain plans, you assumed everybody was happy. But between the somewhat uptight attitude of certain individuals and changes in circumstances, there’ll need to be yet more serious rethink. Tedious as this is, it’s giving you an opportunity to review your own plans and priorities, and while changes can be easily made.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 22

Recent misunderstandings were unsettling but at least they forced you to address persistent, if seemingly minor, issues. These involve those closest. While problems have never been so bad you’ve felt the need to address them, they’ve been on your mind. Take this opportunity to speak frankly about these and, to your delight, you’ll discover you’re able to address future issues as well.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

Understandably, when the facts you hear differ considerably from those you’ve been told previously, you’ll be wary. Actually, it’s just that with the current swift pace, it simply isn’t possible to keep up to date. This, then, raises questions about the trustworthiness of certain individuals or, alternatively, relying on your intuition more than usual. Either way, the more flexible your attitude is, the better.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

Being a Sagittarius and a fire sign, you try to fit as much as possible into each day, which means often plans are made at the last minute. For you, this is normal. But certain individuals are complaining this gives them little time for reflection. Gently but firmly explain you simply don’t work that way, apologise, then go back to doing things as you always have.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 19

Usually, when making a plan, you think things through in depth. Then you proceed, confident changes are unlikely. However, with the Sun challenging your ruler Saturn and the unsettling Capricorn Full Moon taking place, both in late June, shakeups are inevitable. That may seem worrying but, ironically, by then you might need to rethink things anyway. Knowing that, ensure whatever you organise now is flexible.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 17

When you’ve serious differences, whether it’s family, friends or at work, you’ll ask those involved to sum up the issue. This works brilliantly, mostly because it forces the individual in question to actually think things through. This is especially vital now, since you’ll be dealing with all sorts of issues, major and minor. This vital first step could help everyone deal with most of them.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Somebody’s trying to make you feel guilty, and they’re succeeding. While you needn’t confront them about this manipulative behaviour now, be wary about allowing this to become a substitute for a more forthright discussion of the issues in question. Tempting as it is to tiptoe around these, they’ll only become more complicated. True, being frank can be challenging but, in the long run, it’s easier.

ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 19

Much as you’d like to turn exciting plans into action, things just aren’t proceeding as swiftly as you’d anticipated. While, obviously, this is frustrating, it’s also for the best. With three powerful eclipses from mid-July to mid-August shaking up the foundation on which those plans are based, you’re better off making tentative arrangements, then putting off lasting decisions until everything is clear.

TAURUS APRIL 20 – MAY 20

As you’ve been delighted to acknowledge recently, your efforts to maintain cordial relationships with even very difficult individuals have paid off handsomely, especially during tricky periods. While nothing’s seriously wrong, progress on vital plans is frustratingly slow. For now, achieve whatever you’re able to, then focus on strengthening those crucial alliances. This is always vital but, at the moment, it’s crucial.
