YAS WATERWORLD

The Abu Dhabi waterpark’s annual Dana’s Spooktacul­ar is back today from 10am-10pm. The pirate-themed festivitie­s will be replete with a Pirates Candy Cove. There’s also a costume parade (so dust out that Captain Hook outfit) and hunt for sweets at the Trick or Treat Wharf, spooky snacks at the Shiver Me Timbers Buffet, and a Pirate University, where young swashbuckl­ers can learn to perfect menacing ‘Arrrrs’. THE SMASH ROOM

Time to star in your own Smasher flick. The rage room in Al Quoz (top) transforms into a house of horrors for Halloween. Wind your way through a maze of nightmaris­h clowns and terrifying monsters to find the space you can demolish. ATLANTIS, THE PALM

The fear factor is high at Atlantis, The Palm. The haunting gets serious on Wednesday, October 31 when families step into The Lost Chambers Aquarium, which will transform into underwater haunted chambers from 7pm–9pm. The brave can wade through fog-filled, scary decoration­s and play escape games and more. Grand prizes will be handed out for the best costumes. COUNTDOWN CHALLENGE

This JBR escape room has two special challenges crafted for Halloween. The walking dead will roam around the park while you enjoy other activities like a DJ battle, dance battle, live music, a haunted maze, as well as all of the themepark’s 22 adventurou­s rides. There’s no talking Great Dane or the mystery machine but the boutique hotel’s Halloween treasure hunt is an opportunit­y to live your Scooby Doo fantasies.
