THE XX FACTOR
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer, once said that women should ask themselves the question “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?” A very valid question, but at the onset I wonder why only women? Is it because, compared to men, women are more scared of the consequences of failure, the perils of change, the responsibility that accompanies growth and more importantly are uncomfortable living with ambition? economical and cultural background, each one is a success story not just because they are part of successful businesses but more because, in spite of all the challenges, obstacles and adversities they faced, they were bold enough to pursue their passion, turned it into their purpose and are now role models for their kids and those around them.
A very happy new year to all of you.
