PRIYANKA CHOPRA THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

-

This Indian actress has been the rage in her home country for years. Now with a clutch of Hollywood films and TV shows under her belt, this bold and spunky beauty has amassed a considerable global fan following too.

What’s her look: Make-up wise, Priyanka focuses on playing up her bee-stung lips and creating intense smoky eyes along with bold brows. Although she often experiments with vibrant pink and red shades of lipsticks, her pouty lips look their glam best when dressed in shades of browns, bronzes and nudes.

Steal Priyanka’s long lasting, even skin base by opting for Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. Contouring and highlighting suits Priyanka’s warm skin tone so it’s a good idea to follow suit. We chose Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection Palette for subtle face contouring. For a peachy flush to the cheeks, go for Givenchy‘s Spring Collection Prisme Blush (No 10 Power).

Bold brows are trending in Hollywood and Priyanka pays ample attention to them. Use Kat Von D 24-Hour Super Brow Pomade (Dark Brown 2) to accentuate brows.

Next, create an intense smoky eye in neutral shadows using Shiseido Essentialist Eye Palette (Kotto Street Vintage). Line the upper lashline with Fenty Beauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner and then deposit a bit of dark shadow along the same liner. Priyanka goes for minimalist, natural lashes so volumise lashes with just a coat of Tarte Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara.

Pouty lips call for extra-elaborate lipstick application steps. Half an hour before you begin your make-up, prep lips – exfoliate with olive oil and sugar granules to scrape off dead skin. Next, slather on a lip balm to moisturise them. Wipe balm off just a few seconds before you begin to apply your lipstick.

To recreate a fuller pout, line your lips slightly outside your natural lipline with a nude lipliner first – the trick is to draw the cupid’s bow a bit outside the line but to stay on the natural lipline around the inner corners of the mouth. Next, redraw with the chosen lip shade pencil on the newly-created lipline – we chose Inglot Lip Pencil in a warm nude shade. Now, take Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick (Murmur 507) and fill the colour inside the lipline through gentle dabs of the lip brush. Once done, purse a paper tissue between the lips to blot out the excess colour. Finally, check and correct any mistakes on your lips. If needed, reapply the same lipstick with gentle dabs once again wherever it requires retouching. Follow up with a lightweight gloss; apply Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Sepia at the centre of the pout, taking care the gloss doesn’t bleed outside the lipline.
