Joseph Anis Alida Scholtz

Security provider G4S has appointed Alida Scholtz as chief executive officer and managing director for its United Arab Emirates operations. Scholtz has two decades of internatio­nal experience, having managed in 67 markets in the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe. In her previous role as vice president and internatio­nal controller at Hertz, she directed a five-year that is projected to deliver $ 250m in cost savings. American conglomera­te General Electric has appointed Joseph Anis as president and chief executive officer for power services in the Middle East and Africa region.

He will lead the expansion of the firm’s local capacity and boost its innovation efforts in the power services sector. Anis joined GE in 1997 as general manager of the power controls division and has since served in various leadership roles both in the region and globally.

Juan Bezon

Customer service and operations outsourcin­g provider PCCI Group has chosen Juan Bezon as its new chief commercial officer.

Bezon will be responsibl­e for expanding the company’s operations in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. He will also work to increase the company’s market share in the Middle East by tapping into new sectors such as banking, telecoms and IT.

Andrew Savvas

European automaker Volkswagen has appointed Andrew Savvas as the new brand director of its Middle East operations.

Savvas has more than 16 years experience in the automotive industry and previously served as general manager of Volkswagen Australia. He plans to drive growth by focusing on delivering transparen­cy in the treatment of customers and producing a diverse range of car models.
