Maher Zain is the Islamic world’s biggest musical phenomenon. The Lebanese-Swedish star has two multi-platinum-selling albums under his belt and a devoted following on Facebook spanning more than 26 million. Zain began as a successful music producer for RedOne in Sweden and later New York. However, his career took a significant turn after a trip to a Swedish mosque when he decided to become a singer/songwriter of contemporary R&B music with a strong Muslim faith influence. He has three albums under his belt, the most recent of which was released in July last year, and regularly plays sell-out concerts across the Muslim world.
