As a host of the popular Arab Idol reality TV show, Nancy Ajram remains one of the most recognised musicians in the Arab world, with her official Facebook page boasting more than 21.6 million likes. A three-time winner at the World Music Awards, the Lebanese singer, who welcomed 2017 by singing to a packed audience in Dubai, won plaudits for her latest release, Aam Betalla’ Feek/I’m Getting Attached to You. The song, released in December, achieved more than half a million plays in a single day, according to reports, and topped the charts across the Arab world.
