Oman has taken in 10 prisoners released by the US from its Guantanamo Bay military prison. The transfer was part of a drive by former President Barack Obama to reduce the number of inmates at the facility before he left office. Four prisoners went to Saudi Arabia, with more potentially arriving in the GCC.
