The Ghanaian footballer, who plays for UAE Arabian Gulf League club Al Ahli, was one of 45 players to have been issued with a warning letter by the UAE Football Association for having ‘unethical hair’. The striker fell foul of guidelines linked to ‘Qaza’ hairstyles, where only part of the head is shaved – a style prohibited under some Islamic teachings.
