Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s capital has been selected by the International Association for Volunteering Effort (IAVE) as the host city for the 26th World Volunteer Conference in October 2020. The biannual event is the largest gathering of volunteering experts and practitioners, with more than 1,000 participants from over 90 countries expected to attend. The winning bid was announced at the 2018 conference in Augsburg, Germany.
