STAR GAZING

World-renowned astrologer Shelley von Strunckel writes a daily column exclusively for tabloid!

Aries (March 20 – April 19) For ages you’ve been tiptoeing around potentially upsetting issues because you’ve been unsure how others would react. Now you’ve no choice but to discuss these. There’s a trick. Raise the matter in question but say no more, at least initially. Then, slowly, focus on the actual problem that needs to be tackled. Taurus (April 20 – May 20) This is an unsettled week in an exciting but changeable period. Knowing that, expect disarray, in your daily routine, in your diary and your relationships. Worrying as that sounds, this opens the door to ideas, offers and developments that, only a short while ago, would quite simply have been impossible. Gemini (May 21 – June 20) Patience isn’t always your strength. However, now that it’s become clear one particular individual has no intention of revealing important facts, you’ve no choice but to play a waiting game. Ironically, the less concerned you seem about the issue in question, the more swiftly the others will tell all. Cancer (June 21 – July 22) Currently, timing’s as crucial as what you do or say. This doesn’t just relate to what you, personally, are planning, but others as well. Certain individuals are intrigued by the potential for changes but need to familiarise themselves with the details involved. When they’ve learnt enough, they’ll come back to you. Leo (July 23 – August 22) Little makes you happier than seeing somebody you care about achieve their goals. However, watching others struggle can be painful for you. Worse, there’s nothing you can do to give the individual in question a hand. To a certain extent, they caused these problems, so they must take responsibility for undoing them. Virgo (August 23 – September 22) Although the New Moon took place a few days ago, because it accented the structure of your life, you’ll still be thinking about the intriguing options it’s brought your way. While some are clear, others remain a bit of a puzzle. Focus on solving this. As you do, you’ll learn a lot. Libra (September 23 – October 22) The time has come to say farewell to certain familiar, if not reassuring, arrangements. These have not only outlived their time, they’re distracting you from certain other activities or, perhaps, alliances that would be far more rewarding. You may suffer when you let them go, but it won’t last long. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21) Long ago you learnt the value of being discreet. Others may reveal everything they know, but you tend to keep certain crucial matters to yourself. At the moment, however, that could lead to confusion. In this particular case, it’s not only important that you be as frank as possible, it’s essential. Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21) Sooner or later you’ll need to straighten out confusion involving who’s responsible for, and who owes what. While you’d probably prefer to take things as they come, judging by the planetary activity of December’s last half and January, as well, the clearer you are about such matters, the better. Capricorn (December 22 – January 19) Over the coming month or so, the communication planet Mercury meets the truthful Pluto, in Capricorn. The first of these three encounters is on the 19th, and begins a cycle during which events force you to open up about certain matters. While challenging initially, the resulting discussions will be amazingly informative. Aquarius (January 20 – February 17) Long ago you discovered that while most people understand that when you say ‘no’ to ideas, suggestions or offers, you mean it, a few simply don’t take your words seriously. This leads you little choice but to be forthright, if not rude. Don’t be concerned. It’s the way everybody deals with them. Pisces (February 18 – March 19) Yet again you have to deal with somebody who not only has no imagination, they want proof for things that, to you, are obvious. The trick is to gather far more facts that you think necessary. And document them formally. It’s as much about how you present the information as what it says.
