Jayalalitha still under observation

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha, who was admitted to a hospital here after she complained of “fever and dehydration”, remained under doctors’ observation yesterday even as her party dismissed reports that she will be flown to Singapore for further treatment.

“The honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is under observation,” a morning medical bulletin from Apollo Hospitals Chief Operating officer Subbiah Viswanathan had said.
