ETC competition finalists to perform at Yas Mall

The ten finalists of this year’s Yasalam Emerging Talent Competition (ETC) will perform at Palm Court, Yas Mall Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Alastar, BLAK R, Elika Genteroy, FREEK, Gusto, Hasan Malik, Jamil Jabbour, Naree, Rashed Al Nuaimi and Sree — all regional musicians — will perform from 7pm to 9pm. The event is free to attend.

The finalists are part of an annual battle, ETC. They compete for a chance to perform a headlining set at Beats on the Beach in November. In previous years, Rita Ora, J. Cole, Tove Lo and Miguel have also played the free music festival at Abu Dhabi Corniche.

The winner will also be awarded a year-long residency at The Village in du Arena. S.O.S. (Secrecy over Supremacy) were last year’s winners. Emirati singer Alastar, a contestant in Yasalam’s ETC.
