Mohammad, May discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties
UAE and UK review common aspects of coordination and cooperation
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday discussed with Theresa May, British Prime Minister, friendship and cooperation, and ways to strengthen them.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues. The discussions were conducted as the British Prime Minister received Shaikh Mohammad, who is on a working visit to Britain, and the accompanying delegation in London yesterday.
Welcoming Shaikh Mohammad, May lauded the historic UAE-UK relations and stressed both countries’ keenness to develop such relations to serve the common interests of both nations.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed his happiness at visiting the UK and meeting with Prime Minister May, stressing the depth and strength of relations binding the UAE and UK and their peoples.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed common aspects of coordination and cooperation in light with both governments’ interests to constantly enhance those relations and take them to new heights. They also discussed and exchanged views over the latest regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority as well as other British top officials
