Duo kidnapped cleaner, took him to Abu Dhabi

Suspects posed as policemen, forced man into their car

in Karama in November and pretended that they were policemen.

The duo stopped the cleaner, who was busy talking on his phone in an alley, according to records, and asked him for his identification papers.

The two men are said to have shown him two cards that they claimed to be police IDs. They then grabbed the man, pushed him into a vehicle and drove off.

The men drove the cleaner to Abu Dhabi and handed him over to two other men who turned out to be policemen. The duo pleaded not guilty and refuted the accusations.
