Seven medical colleges set to open in Sindh

Sindh government plans to establish seven medical colleges in the province to provide the best medical education and overcome a shortage of doctors.

Quoting health department officials, Radio Pakistan reported that an amount of 1.88 billion rupees (Dh65 million) would be spent in the financial year 2017 in this regard.

The official said two medical colleges were to be establishe­d in Karachi while one each would be opened in Sukkur, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas and Matiari. (APP)
