The annual Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (Getex), a leading student recruitment event, is returning to Dubai, from April 13 to 15 at the Shaikh Saeed Halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Getex will showcase more than 2,000 multidisciplinary undergraduate, postgraduate, and training courses, alongside student and career counselling sessions, financial advice, and career-oriented seminars to be hosted by academic and industry experts.

The event will also offer at least 250 master and doctoral degree programmes in the fields of international business, economics, humanities and social sciences, law, medicine and vet science, nanotechnology, criminology, food safety, and maritime technology, among others. Industryready courses in key sectors such as aviation, information technology, gaming, teaching, nursing, architecture, and hospitality will be highlighted.

Investment

Anselm Godinho, managing director of International Conferences and Exhibitions, the organiser of the event, said: “Getex comes at a time when investment in education is at its all-time high across the Arab World. Many regional governments are now prioritising and heavily investing in education infrastructure as part of their transition towards a knowledge- and innovationdriven economy. We hope to contribute to this growth by providing a global platform where all stakeholders can get a buy-in from end users and advance their education offerings to address regional trends.”

Getex will provide a smart and interactive recruitment platform connecting educational institutions and professional training providers with young and mature learners, in addition to free seminars addressing a range of student issues and interactive learning sessions.

University representatives from Canada, Egypt, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, the UK, and the US will be present.
