Mohammad at operetta

MORE THAN 500 STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY TOOK PART IN THE MUSICAL SHOW

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended a musical operetta organised by the Ministry of Education in Dubai yesterday. Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Emirati singer Hussain Al Jasmi were present.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday attended an operetta, This is My Nation, which was organised by the Ministry of Education at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Performed by more than 500 students from across the country, the operetta was held under the patronage of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The event was attended by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Lieutenant-General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Also present were Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group and Chairman of Dubai Airports; and Shaikh Hasher Maktoum, Dubai Director of the Dubai Media Department, as well as other shaikhs, senior officials and teachers.

The musical show included six acts, which reflected the advanced cultural scene, and the national achievemen­ts made possible with the support of the UAE’s wise leadership’s support, which always seeks to provide a decent, secure and stable life for the entire Emirati community.

The operetta also reflected the national solidarity between the prudent leadership and its people, as well as the spirit of solidarity and cooperatio­n between the GCC countries.

Shaikh Mohammad expressed his satisfacti­on with the operetta, which cements the culture of loyalty to the nation and the spirit of belonging to the country. Shaikh Mohammad also praised efforts made by ministers, students, trainers and artists involved in the operetta.
