Trump said last week the ban would take effect 72 hours after being cleared by courts. The court said the ban could not be implemented for now against people who have personal links to the US, citing the examples of foreign nationals wishing to visit family or students accepted to attend a university. The Department of Homeland Security said it would implement the ban with partners in the travel industry.
