DubaiPay portal sees 15% growth

DubaiPay, an online payment portal via smartphones, registered a 15 per cent increase in the amounts collected over a one-year period from June 2016.

Over the same period, the number of transactions carried out recorded a surge of 13 per cent to 10 million that generated Dh12 billion.

“We partnered government and private entities to introduce DubaiPay and ... make customers happy, enabling them to pay the fees for all their daily services,” Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, director-general of Smart Dubai Office. (Staff Report)
