Thunderstorms expected in Sindh, Punjab

rains and thunderstorms are expected in scattered areas of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Kashmir today, experts say.

Rainfall is expected in the Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Bahawalpur divisions, as well as parts of Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Islamabad and Kashmir. However, hot and humid weather should continue elsewhere in the country. A westerly wave affecting the upper and central parts of the country is likely to persist during the next few days, a Met office official said. (APP)
