Largest container vessel docks in Iraq port

Gulftainer,

a privately owned port operator, has received the largest container vessel at an Iraqi port to date, according to the company in a statement yesterday.

The 5,551 TEU vessel, YM Wealth, deployed by Taiwan-based shipping line Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming), arrived at Gulftainer’s Iraq Container Terminal (ICT) facility.

Gulftainer held a reception to host Omran Radhi Thani, DG of the National Ports Authority of Iraq on the occasion. (Staff Report)
