2 martyred in line of duty in Yemen

The General Command extends its condolence­s to the martyrs’ families

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces yesterday announced the martyrdom of Second Lieutenant Pilot Sultan Mohammad Ali Al Naqbi after his aircraft crashed due to a technical fault while performing his duty as part of the Saudiled Arab coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope in support of Yemen’s legitimate government.

The General Command also announced the martyrdom of First Sergeant Nasser Garib Al Mazroui, who succumbed to previous injuries he sustained during his participat­ion in the Arab coalition’s operation in Yemen.

The General Command extended its heartfelt condolence­s to the martyrs’ families, praying to Allah Almighty to rest their souls in Paradise.

Meanwhile, the body of Emirati martyr Al Mazroui arrived yesterday on board a military plane of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, where a special military ceremony was held to mark the return of the martyr’s body.
