Mohammad Bin Zayed visits martyrs’ families
Offers condolences, saying the two officers have set a heroic example of sacrifice
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday offered condolences to the families of martyrs Second Lieutenant Pilot Sultan Mohammad Ali Al Naqbi and First Sergeant Nasser Gareeb Nasser Al Mazroui, who succumbed to injuries they received while carrying out their duties with the Arab Coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia to back the legitimate government in Yemen.
Visiting the mourning tents of Al Naqbi in Ras Al Khaimah and Al Mazroui in Sharjah, Shaikh Mohammad expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the martyrs’ families, praying to Allah Almighty to rest their souls in eternal peace and grant their families patience and solace.
While talking to the families, Shaikh Mohammad reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s and people’s pride in the martyrs who set a heroic example of sacrifice and response to the call of national duty. “The martyrs’ faithfulness to their country will be immortalised and remembered by generations to come,” he said.
“The firm stance of the martyrs’ families reflects their patriotism and loyalty to this great country and their willingness to sacrifice everything for it. It also reflects their true and authentic nature inherited from their forefathers.”
Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, director of The Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Saif Mohammad Al Hajeri, chairman of the Department of Economic Development; and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
