UAE holds talks with China province
Abdullah Bin Ahmad Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry, has discussed with Wang Shujian, deputy governor of Shandong, bilateral relations and ways to boost cooperation in vital sectors including Investment, infrastructure, tourism, food processing and oil refining.
While meeting at the Ministry of Economy’s headquarter in Abu Dhabi, the two officials explored new avenues of cooperation between investors and businesspersons of both countries.
“The UAE-Chinese relations are witnessing a growing momentum especially in the economic and trade sector as evidenced by holding countless meetings, forums and joint events beside the great volume of trade exchange”, Al Saleh said.
During this month, we have held many meetings and joint events including the 6th session of the UAE-China Joint Economic Committee chaired by Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Zhong Shan, Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. All these efforts aim to strengthening the UAE-Chinese relations and enhance the existing partnership between both countries, he further said.
Al Saleh highlighted that the mutual meetings have resulted in setting mechanisms to develop the existing cooperation in 13 developmental fields including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, financial services and tourism among other promising fields. Three Memorandum of Understandings and two protocols covering various sectors and fields were also signed during the mutual meetings.
