Filipino stars to treat music fans

Filipino stars Carla Abellana, Aicelle Santos and Andrea Torres are set to perform in Dubai on Thursday.

The three-in-one show brings a postValentine’s Day treat to their Filipino fans in the UAE.

Abellana, Santos and Torres will headline the Pusong Pinoy sa Dubai (Filipino Heart in Dubai) event, bringing them together to the emirate for the first time.

Abellana, 31, is a Filipina actress and commercial model who played the lead role in the numerous TV hit shows.

Torres, 27, is an actress, host, dancer and commercial model.

Santos, 32, is a soul, R’n’B, pop, and jazz singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress who stormed into in the Philippine music scene and has been known as the First Undefeated Pinoy Pop Superstar.

During the show’s briefing last week in Manila, Abellana and Torres expressed excitement about seeing the city and meeting their fans.

“Finally, we will see you there,” Abellana said in Tagalog. “We’re going to have a party.”
