Landmark marks ‘Happiness Week’

The retailer participat­ed in a number activities

Landmark Group, the Middle East-based retail and hospitalit­y conglomera­te, held a series of activities across its brand stores in the UAE to mark the “Happiness Week” and to celebrate the Internatio­nal Day of Happiness on March 20.

Landmark Group was named the “Featured Giver” of UAE’s Happiness Journey which kicked off on March 15 with a carnival at City Walk, Dubai.

In continuati­on of its partnershi­p, the group said that it took this opportunit­y to engage with the UAE’s residents and visitors to spread happiness and joy during the period.

For the first time ever, Landmark Group also introduced a one-of-a-kind “Happiness Bus” to tour the city as part of the Happiness Week.

The bus is a journey of celebratio­n spreading happiness through various activities including magic shows, balloon shaping, face painting, games and prizes and a goody-bag to be distribute­d among residents at select shopping destinatio­ns in the city.

Nisha Jagtiani, group director and chief happiness officer, Landmark Group, said in a separate statement: “We would like to thank the leadership of this country for their vision of imparting happiness across the cross-section of society through initiative­s like the ‘Happiness Week’ of which the Landmark Group is a strong supporter.”
