Lulu holds recipe contest at Food Expo
The competitions included pizza decorating and sandwich making
Lulu has concluded its World Food Expo 2018 promotion, which ran from March 28 to April 10. As a part of the event, entertainment was provided and activities were conducted to attract customers.
The activities included fruit carving and a fruit platter competition, burger and sandwich making competitions, cake icing and cupcake decorating competitions, and more.
However, the main attraction of the event was the cooking competition in the vegetarian and non-vegetarian categories, conducted at Lulu Hypermarket in Al Wahda on April 10. Each category had three winners.
The prize distribution ceremony of the cooking competition was held at Al Wahda Mall on April 10.
The event aimed to drive customers to the company’s stores, by featuring several special offers and activities, including live cooking demos, free sampling, cooking contests, quiz competitions, and exhibitions displaying a variety of foods from across the world.
Shoppers could participate in these activities and win a range of gifts.
“LuLu will once again be transformed into a truly international culinary destination. This year we will ensure your satisfaction with our endless array of tempting dishes from around the world,” LuLu’s management said in a press statement.
