Another minor raped – Even as the outrage against the brutal rape and murder of eight-year-old Asifa continued to dominate headlines in India, another case was reported, this time in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). An eight-year-old was raped and murdered and people questioned whether there was any end to the crisis. The Pulitzer Prize winners for 2018 were announced yesterday, becoming one of the top trending topics.

Main reason for such incidents is parents still teach girls what to wear, how to behave, but never ask a boy what he is doing, how he behaves with any girls etc. No girl can invite a boy to rape, the boy’s mentality does that...

I am not Indian but I love Indians because of their rich culture. Nevertheless, this news of rampant rape and murder cases is tarnishing the image of such a reputable country. God help the country.

First rapper to do it. Get ready for #KendrickLamar’s next brag track, because the rapper just won the Pulitzer Prize for Music... This Pulitzer has historically gone to #classical or #jazz music, so it’s a pleasant surprise to see it awarded to Lamar, who also won #BestRapAlbum at the #Grammys.

@KendrickLamar just made history by scoring a Pulitzer Prize for his album! You could argue long into the night about whether or not the approval of an institution like the Pulitzer Prize is antithetical to the messages contained within his album, but an award that’s frequently courted accusations of rarefied, snooty irrelevance could hardly have picked a more relevant and impactful album to give its approval to.
