THE YELLOW CHILLI

Where: Dragon Mart 2, Dubai, and Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi. What: Indian celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s pocket-friendly restaurant chain has some pocket-friendly deals for iftar. The buffet includes Ramadan drinks, four vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters as well as four vegetarian and non-vegetarian main courses. There’s also salads, chicken biryani and desserts. Timing: From sunset until 9.30pm.

Price: Dh79 per person.

TANIA’S TEAHOUSE

Where: Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai.

What: This one’s for tea aficionado­s. The newly-opened speciality tea-themed cafe offers a selection of healthy meals and desserts alongside a range of 25 flavoured teas in a relaxed low-key fun atmosphere. Fun menu items include Pass The CousCous Salad, Let The Beet Drop Salad and Sticky Date Cake,,, you get the drift. Timing: 6.30pm to 1.30am.

Price: A la carte.

BEACHSIDE RAMADAN TENT

Where: Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa.

What: Traditions is the theme of this tent with a buffet serving popular Arabic delicacies, an oudh player setting the mood, and activities such as camel rides and falcon shows right by the sea. A perfect spot to escape the heat.

Timing: From sunset until midnight. Price: Dh145 per person. Dh130 for groups of 10 or more.

AT.MOSPHERE

Where: Burj Khalifa, Dubai.

What: Take your iftar up a notch and make it memorable by ending your fast on the 122nd level of the world’s tallest tower. Enjoy the views along with a specially curated four-course menu featuring internatio­nal dishes and desserts.

Timing: 6pm to 10:30pm.

Price: Dh575 per person for a four-course menu. A la carte option also available.

NAMU

Where: W Dubai, Al Habtoor City. What: Thinking of an iftar with a twist? How about a K-Iftar? The Korean restaurant on the 31st floor has created a homestyle special menu for Ramadan. Plus, it’s got amazing views of the Dubai Canal. Timing: From sunset until midnight. Price: Dh155 per person including soft beverages. Dh77.50 for children between 5 to 12 years of age. Children below 5 dine for free.
