Rs 5.9m for construction of power plants

Two hydroelectric power plants of 27kw capacity are being constructed in South Waziristan at a cost of Rs5.9 million (Dh186,694).

According to officials, a 15kw Hydro power project is being constructed in Upper Kanigurum and Saam area at a cost of Rs3.9 million while another 12kw capacity of Hydro power plant is being constructed in the Gigakhel area at a cost of Rs2.1 million, Radio Pakistan reported. (APP)
