Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson became the subject of engagement rumours Monday afternoon with outlets reporting that they were recently affianced.
The Saturday Night Live actor reportedly popped the question to the No Tears Left to Cry singer, according to People, TMZ, Page Six and more.
The gist of the stories is that Davidson and Grande, both 24, got engaged in the last week or so after just a few weeks of dating and some very public declarations about each other on social media.
According to Us Weekly, which was first to report the engagement, the smitten pair “were telling people that they’re engaged” at actor Robert Pattinson’s birthday party Saturday in Los Angeles. But they’re “not rushing to get married.”
Reps for the two did not immediately respond to The Los Angeles Times’ requests for comment. Nor did the stars post on social media about the reports. But loads of outlets had unnamedsource “confirmations” of the news.
E! News even speculated Monday that Grande had worn her new engagement Pete Davidson with Ariana Grande. ring while performing at the Wango Tango concert June 2.
Davidson publicly validated their romance on May 30.
The two began dating about a month ago, following the singer’s split from rapper Mac Miller.
