Abu Dhabi Blood Donation Drive
Donations will take place at mobile blood banks parked outside Deerfield’s Mall main entrance. Sessions will run from 8pm to midnight on Wednesdays and Thursdays through Ramadan. Burjeel Medical Centre is also offering free nutrition counselling and checks of vital statistics such as blood pressure and body mass index at its stand, located in the mall’s main atrium.

Year Of Zayed Photo Exhibition
A photography exhibition courtesy of the National Archive, and a bespoke art display created by Emirati artist, Hayat Abdallah, at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, in celebration of the late founding father of the UAE, Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The 40 images, on loan by the National Archive, showcases the historical significance of his rule and the impact of his legacy within the UAE. Free entry, until June 17.

Moments Competition
The eighth edition of the annual regional photography competition aims to nurture the talent of aspiring photographers from around the Arab world. Held under the theme of ‘Stories of People of the Arab World’, the competition enables photographers from the region to present images capturing the essence and beauty of the Middle East through its people. Each photo has to carry with it an authentic, detailed and complete description of the story behind the image, which aims to add geographic, social and cultural context to the photo. Submissions are accepted until June 20.

Dubai Silent Auction
Brighter Days, a masterpiece created by Robi Walters as part of a live art installation, and inspired by the official colour of Global Autism Awareness Day – blue. Using thousands of
individual hand-cut petals from recycled materials, the artwork will help raise funds for autism, and the Emirates Autism Society. Displayed at Fashion Avenue, The Dubai Mall, until the end of Eid Al Fitr. The reserve bid will start at Dh25,000, with incremental bids of a minimum of Dh1,000.

A Ramadan-themed photography exhibition exploring the various facets of Ramadan, portrayed through the creative eyes of 12 talented people of determination, at Mall of the Emirates’s Luxury Wing on Level 1, until June 16.
Tree of Life
Visitors are invited to donate during this month of giving. For every contribution made, patrons can light a lamp on the tree, representing a change made in the lives of the destitute. Be it money, clothes, books, stationery, toys etc, Arabian Center will convey all donations to the Red Crescent, who will then distribute them to refugee camps in Syria, Yemen, and Somalia. Tree of Life initiative will continue at the night court area, until the end of Eid holidays. Donations can be made anytime between 11am and 1am, daily.
