Thoughts that can be agents of change
THE KEY TO TRANSFORMING THE WORLD IS TO CHANGE PERSPECTIVE
Although technology has made great advancement, it’s the workings of the human brain that still remains unrivalled.
The meaning of the word technology when translated from the Greek means the “science of craft”. Technology is like a thread running through the past and into the future. In every strand of the thread, one end always rests upon the nimble fingers of a weaver, who unravels opportunities beyond perception.
If viewed from another perspective, every miraculous idea was formed due to a brainstorm, so why do we limit ourselves?
Although it may seem plausible, there is a fine line between perspective and perception.
Perception is branded in our past experiences, thus our brain can assimilate even redundant information, yet ascertain its factual implication.
Whatever we visualise is a mere perception, possibly an illusion which we may believe to be true.
Perception is the spindle that revolves around life, regardless of its positive and negative impact or outcome. Perception is what you interpret.
Perspective, on the other hand, is a point of view. Hasn’t it ever dawned on you, the reason we aren’t able to transform the world for the better is because there is a majority who only see their perspective, ignoring the actual facts? If you gaze at the colour red in a positive way, it associates with passion, celebration and the most arduous expression of them all, love. However, when you contemplate it pessimistically, it can be onerous, conceited and abhorrent.
So if you were to paint the world red, how would you perceive it?
