The internet loves a romance. In less than a week, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas has not only met Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra’s mother, but was holidaying with her family and friends, in Goa.
In a picture that surfaced online, Chopra is seen sitting with Jonas and her cousin, actress Parineeti Chopra, enjoying a meal. Parineeti also uploaded a video of them enjoying the rains while singing a Bollywood song. The post was liked 19,000 times and some fans even spotted Jonas in the background of the video.
Chopra and Jonas were also spotted together several times in New York over the last month. The celebrities became Instagram ‘official’ after the 25-year-old American singer posted a video of Chopra on his Instagram Stories, with the caption “her”, followed by a heart-eye emoji.
While the 10-year age difference between the two stars did spark some controversy, fans of the new ‘it’ couple were thrilled. Tweep @JEONGTML said: “Nick Jonas is dating Priyanka Chopra? He’s dating a... queen.”
Singer Neha Bhasin said: “Dear India, Priyanka Chopra deserves to have a boyfriend or boyfriends of any age, size and colour. Your obsession with her choices or opinion about it proves one thing for sure, you need to have a life of your own.”
At the couple’s first Mumbai appearance, some fans even noticed that both Chopra and Jonas wore matching rings, fuelling engagement rumours too.
