Khaymat Al Bahar, the Lebanese restaurant in Jumeirah Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah, is offering a full-fledged, authentic Lebanese lunch every Friday with sizzling live-cooking stations and gorgeous beachfront views. Enjoy mezzeh, lamb, manaish, shawarma and so much more.

Go for Moombai & Co’s new tiffin box

The new tiffin box dining experience is a chance to experience Moombai & Co menu favourites as well as new creations in a wellpacked ‘dabba’ or tiffin. Each tiffin contains a small plate, a main course, a selection of roti, naan or rice and a set dessert of pistachios­tuffed gulab jamun. It comes with veggie options, and a chicken berry biryani option. Each day, the chefs prepare a new menu for the tiffin boxes, with a month of 20 special vegetarian and 20 special nonvegetar­ian tiffins each day.

Try new spot Babel

Babel has just launched its waterfront property at the gorgeous La Mer in Dubai, featuring a contempora­ry fusion of Lebanese flavours and seafood specialiti­es. Enjoy mezzeh to share, like shrimps Beiruty and a kibbeh selection, while seafood dishes range from salmon sashimi to calamari a la Provencale. End with Lebanese desserts like ashta bel ashta, knefeh and jazrieh, to name just a few. The restaurant extends over two levels and has minimalist­ic interiors.

The cool thing about this restaurant is that it is based on the look and feel of an actual apartment, and each room cleverly depicts the surroundin­gs of a luxury home. Check it out for breakfast and try favourites like the cold cuts, cereal and other authentic American breakfast dishes. For those who want just one plate, order a la carte for dishes like the classic eggs Benedict or Belgian waffles glazed with apple syrup.
