LuLu launched the ‘Awesome South Africa’ festival to showcase food products from the country.

Being held from September 26 to October 2, the festival was inaugurated at LuLu Hypermarket Khalidiyah Mall in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Saa’d Cachalia, South African Ambassador to the UAE.

It will feature offerings specially flown in from South Africa, such as fresh food, ethnic delicacies, and various spices, as LuLu puts its international product range in the spotlight.

“Over the years, LuLu has stayed consistent in providing uninterrupted food supply at the most affordable prices in our stores across the Middle East. Our South African sourcing and food processing counterpart has brought quality products to our customers,” said Ashraf Ali M.A., executive director, LuLu Group International.

The festival features a selection of imported fresh fruit including avocado hass, nadorcott, baby pineapple, lemons, pears and grapefruit. It also features a range of meats such as the traditional boerewors sausage, beef ribeye steak and beef burgers.

LuLu has 152 stores operating worldwide in countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The chain makes great efforts to sustain the supply of global products at the best rates.
