Many claim that traditional media has long reached its peak and is currently on the decline. They claim that newspapers are at the end of the road with the purported domination of digital media. But examining this in-depth clearly reveals that while digital media is here to stay and will certainly flourish, without the specialised skills and ethics it is nothing more than a trend. That’s if digital media is not an overrated medium that still lacks the authority to tell the story as objectively and professionally as traditional media does.
